I have been so bad about posting this summer. I feel like I need to make reels and I don't want to make reels and so basically I just skip it altogether. But school is back in session and I'm back on a normal schedule and I'm trying to, you know, FOCUS. We will see how that goes.

I put my house up for sale today. Making a big step in my relationship. It feels good. It feels more stable than I had anticipated, so that's something. School starts for the medium-sized child in about 2 weeks so that will force us back into a schedule. I feel more settled than I have in a while. Work feels good, kids are good, the man I love is good, friends are good.... if I could get my perimenopausal hormones to settle, I'd be great!!!

I was reading my world news feed this morning and started feeling frantic about life because, geez....and then I looked at my puppy and remembered that I don't HAVE to read the news and I can choose to focus on the wonderful little things in MY world...like my dogs and plants and chipped mugs and new leaves and the sun coming in my windows and glass bottles and my kids and and and. It definitely makes my world a little smaller when I choose to look at those things but it makes me so much happier.

I haven't posted in a bit. Summer is a strange time for me. It is our slow season at the store because everyone is outside doing outside planty things. And it's strangely busy at home even though we don't have school or piano or sports. But we have birthdays and weekend trips and friends in town and camp and the new grandbaby and work and the yard and dogs and a boyfriend who lives out of town and the kid to entertain without school or piano or sports.....😐
So, social media falls to the wayside. But I am saying hello today!! Come say hi and look around! It's super pretty in the store and we are slightly bored. 😄
