đ§ŹIN A RECENT STUDY, MOTS-c IS SHOWING US THERE MAY BE MORE TO THIS PEPTIDE THAN WE THOUGHT.
Researchers found that MOTS-c may act as a mitochondrial-encoded host defense peptide, meaning it may play a role in the bodyâs immune defense.
The study found that MOTS-c can interact with bacteria and influence the development of immune cells involved in bacterial clearance. Researchers also observed activity against bacteria including E. coli and MRSA and found that MOTS-c helped generate macrophages with enhanced bacterial-clearing activity. This is early research and does NOT mean MOTS-c is an approved treatment for infections.
