Why Easter Matters — More Than Just a Holiday

Easter isn’t just about eggs, candy, or springtime traditions. It’s the cornerstone of the Christian faith — the celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead.

Scripture says, Jesus, the Son of God, was crucified for our sins, buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). His resurrection is proof that sin and death have been defeated. It means that we can have forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope through Him.

Romans 6:9 says, “We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him.” That victory is ours when we trust in Him.

Easter is important because it’s not just a story — it’s the reason behind our world that God created for us.

He is risen — just as He said!
