Maximum cushion or maximum support? Yes! If you’re struggling to get through daily activities because every step hurts, cushioning definitely offers comfort. But in the end, support will help strengthen and heal the foot. If you’ve got a strong healthy foot you can probably go back and forth between the two with little issue. For the rest of us it seems that using both when possible is the best solution. Sore feet after working on the farm all day? Throw a cushioned shoe on and enjoy softness. Wearing those super soft shoes to get you through you job standing in one spot all day? Slip into that Birkenstock for an evening and let your feet heel up (and Jenny thinks she’s the funny one).
