You may be thinking “hey, isn’t this an old photo? and didn’t I already vote for some ‘best of’ category?” And you would be correct!!

I’m out & about so ya gotta make do with whatever photos are on your laptop, and we’re now in the final voting round for Best of Flathead! (kind of forgot about the nomination round, was busy living life and painting a mural & whatnot)

You can find us under Best Antiques in the Retail category (yes, we categorize the shop as a vintage shop rather than an antique shop, but tomato tomato)

I’ll add some links around here and there for the voting page!

We found these embroideries about a year ago at a sale, folded in a pile. The family had already selected the pieces they wanted to keep, so we bought what was left (as someone who does embroidery and cross stitch, I always love when we can save any fiber arts!).

Now all the pieces are ironed, steamed, tidied up, and in frames, ready for new homes to live in. As it is with most things in the shop, I love these and part of me is very attached!! But I also know that, as an artist, it’s a joy to see your work live out & about. So now her work gets to continue on.

Wildflowers: $60
Kitchen window: $75
Bluebird & mouse: $65
Beaver: $30
Bunny: $20

(forgot to get measurements, but if there’s any you’re interested in I can always send measurements along!)

True to form I am late in posting about an event!!

This Saturday is the second annual Vintage Store Day—we’ll be open from 11am-5pm. We’re hiding five $10 gift cards around the shops for y’all to find (you’re limited to one card, so sorry if you were a bird dog in a past life), and we’ll have a sale table! I might have some new earrings ready as well 👀

Weather looks cool and cloudy, so it’ll probably be a great day to grab breakfast/coffee and go out & about to your favorite spots—see ya this weekend!

Hello from your local vintage shop that is the best at coming in second place baby!!!

There was a reason why I’ve kept all of my participation ribbons from swim team (they didn’t need to make them the prettiest ones and also they could have not constantly stuck me in butterfly races, but alas).

Clear caveat that yes, second place is still second place! But I cannot help but see the humor in a clean sweep of not winning anything lol. Bon appétit ✨🥈

See ya Saturday & Sunday for the yard sale!! 10am-5pm, will be here Saturday only, the bigger pile you make the better deal we’ll give ya.

Like last year, we’ll have a designated hold area so you can make a pile and keep shopping. See ya this weekend!

The office reveal is here!! What started out as buying these charts became maybe painting one wall became painting the whole office (walls, doors, and trim).

The walls will be filled out eventually, but I still have things to frame / embroideries to back / pieces to make (believe it or not I have very few of my own cyanotypes lol)

🔑A quick run-down on the pieces (shortened a bit because I love a trinket):
-1960s botanical charts were from .more! Thank you for letting me buy them & unknowingly spurring me on to do something about my office
-chalkboard was my grandpa’s
-pretty much all of the cross stitch & embroidery pieces are ones that I’ve done (except for a few from friends!), and a vintage one my aunt found for me
-gum bichromate over salted paper CM Russell prints are by yours truly
-Plato was $12 at an estate sale!
-books have all been collected over the years (same goes for the shelf tchotchkes)
-folding bookcase was $10 at a yard sale last year
-1980s oak pier cabinets suddenly look fantastic against green and now I love them (color theory)
-the Herman Miller chair (CAN YOU BELIEVE) is from , and Carrie restored it’s finish!
-I used Rub & Buff on the outlet covers (don’t use metallic paint on receptacles, ask me how I know, I’m an artist not an electrician)
-light switch is from
-paint is Secret Garden from

And thank you to Carrie for helping me because I foolishly thought I would just paint some vaulted walls super quick by myself (delusions of grandeur)!

It’s spring, which means we’re clearing out the garage, sheds, & back stock for our critically acclaimed* Annual Yard Sale!

Saturday, May 2 & Sunday, May 3
10am-5pm (no earlies! We want it to be fair. You can look, but ya can’t touch)
with on Saturday! How many yard sales have you been to where there’s ESPRESSO)
shop not included in the sale

This is only posted here or by word of mouth at the shop (no listings anywhere) because we want it to be for y’all! A real if you know, you know sitch.

If you’ve been to one of our yard sales, you know there’s a whole trove of odds & ends and that we price it to move. This isn’t a “vintage things outside priced at retail” sale, this is a “please we have to many projects take them” sale. Enjoy!!

*not really acclaimed but we’ve had people ask about it unprompted so someone has us marked on a calendar!

Pro of redoing the office: I find the piles of things I wanted to scan before they go into the shop, so now these retro travel decals are available (sorry for hoarding them)!!

I can’t speak on the stickability of these, but I can speak to the design (dayglo). We do have four (!!) of the Montana decals available, all in similar condition. Decals are $7 each!
