This style of covered tea mug, known as a 'gaiwan' or lidded tea cup, has been used in Chinese tea culture since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). These vessels were designed to keep tea hot while allowing the lid to strain leaves during pouring. 1960-70 piece can be found among other treasures in Booth J4 inside Artichoke Annies Antique Mall- Millersburg Exit 137 open 7 days a week 8am to 6pm.

Just a heads up friends - if you are planning on coming to see us this Sunday, July 19th between 8am-4pm, you will need to take an alternate route as Route J will be closed just south of the i70 to Jade Street for roadwork.

That means taking a different exit and / or coming in from the South thru Millersburg instead of hopping off the highway at exit 137. We are clarifying some alt routes for you but wanted to give you some time to plan a re-route. Thanks so much and we'll see you soon.

" Callaway County Route J is scheduled to close for a culvert replacement, west of Fulton. Local crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close Route J on Sunday, July 19, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., between Jade Road and Interstate 70. This is just south of Exit 137.

During the closure, motorists must seek an alternate route.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. "
