Four years. 🤍
Four years ago, Broke But Not Defeated began with a dream, a little courage, and a lot of hope. I never imagined all the places this journey would take me.
These four years have brought so much joy, but they have also brought doubt, burnout, and some really difficult decisions. There were moments when I questioned myself and wondered if I should keep going. Building something you love is beautiful, but it can also be incredibly hard.
Then someone picks up a bookmark and smiles. Someone tells me they love one of my stickers or says my booth made their day. Those moments remind me why I started and why I continue.
If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quieter on social media lately, I promise I haven’t stopped creating. I’ve been planning, dreaming, and working behind the scenes. Sometimes creativity needs a little quiet before it blooms again.
Lately I’ve also been making time to fill my own cup. I’ve been learning more about wine through tastings, exploring food pairings, and slowly building a collection. I’ve been getting lost in fantasy books full of dragons and adventure. I’ve been dreaming, finding inspiration in unexpected places, and enjoying my time at The Vibe on 6th. All of those little moments have been helping me create with fresh eyes.
I am so excited to share that BBND will be at the Sunflower Jubilee at Field of Grace and the Hogansville Hummingbird Festival this fall. I can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet new friends.
To celebrate our fourth anniversary, we are also launching two brand new sticker designs, available exclusively at The Vibe on 6th for now.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting Broke But Not Defeated over the last four years. Every purchase, every kind word, every share, and every visit to my booth has meant more than you know.
Here’s to four years of creating, learning, growing, and believing that even through the hard seasons, beautiful things can still bloom.
