Hi friends! 🤍
Since I have some new faces around here, I figured it was time to reintroduce myself!
I’m Alicia Niemeyer (Burton) — the girl who always has about 47 business ideas at once 😂.
You could say I’m just thankful God blessed me with an entrepreneurial mindset, even if He’s also been teaching me how to sit still.
Some of you know me as the girl who started Shebrews Coffee here in our little town, some know me from our small community, and some know me as your shirt dealer.
What many don’t know is that I’ve actually been making shirts for over five years, long before I ever started the coffee trailer. I started this little business while working in accounting, but never really shared it because I didn’t want to annoy everyone.
Eventually, I left accounting to chase the coffee trailer dream, and I absolutely loved that season. But over the last year, God has called me into a different season — one where I’m learning to stop chasing every dream I have and focus on my biggest dream of becoming a mom. 🤍
Most of you know our story, but if you don’t, well that’s a story for another day. And while some may wonder why I couldn’t continue running a business while trying to become a mom, the truth is, those two things just didn’t coexist for me.
The coffee trailer was much more demanding than I needed during this time in my life and it didn’t allow me the flexibility I needed for doctors’ appointments, procedures, and everything else that comes with this journey. And I’m not the type of person who can just let someone else run my business and completely step away. 😂
I realized that if I kept going at the pace I was going, I might never slow down enough to truly make room for the family I’ve been praying so hard for. Sometimes you have to let go of something good to make room for what God is asking you to trust Him with.
So here I am — continuing to do something I’ve loved for years. This little business gives me a creative outlet I genuinely enjoy, while also giving me the flexibility I need in this season.
So whether you’ve been here forever or you’re brand new — welcome! 🤍
I’m so thankful you’re here and that I get to share something I love with all of you while trusting God with the bigger picture. 🤍
