CALLING ALL SIMBAS AND NATION BUILDERS!!! 🗣️

Over the summer the S.I.M.B.A Circle had their annual summer camp for Black Boys. This year Gye-Nyame Journey and Warriors Initiative will be partnering with J. Jireh Development Corp. and the Ohio S.I.M.B.A Circle Chapter to help create the annual S.I.M.B.A Circle Reunion. This reunion will be a 3 day experience, from February 24th-26th, filled with workshops, activities and games; all for youth ages 8-17. What is the Warrior’s Initiative?
This demonstration is to help give an understanding of who we are! Tykeice Cox, Cleven Brown and Edreese Robinson use their lived experience in rites of passage and being a inner city youth to work with Millennium Community School middle school students to teach discipline strategies, and principles to assist the next generation of Elite Leaders!

CALLING ALL SIMBAS AND NATION BUILDERS‼️‼️

Over the summer the S.I.M.B.A Circle had their annual summer camp for Black Boys. This year Gye-Nyame Journey and the Warrior’s Initiative will be partnering with J. The Warrior’s Initiative was founded by Tykeice Cox, Cleven Brown, and Edreese Robinson. As children all of the founders grew up in the same Rite of Passage Program called Gye Nyame Journey. These males now own a rite of passage program, as an extension of Gye-Nyame Journey called the Warrior’s Initiative. Their business gives an opportunity to inner city youth to learn discipline, principle, and self mastery that can apply to multiple aspects of life, and build connections with leaders that can help connect them to new opportunities!

The Warrior’s Initiative received the opportunity to volunteer with the Huckleberry House , to support them with painting a space for young people to chill!

These 5 middle school students, alongside our founders supported the Huckleberry House Housing Program. Whose efforts are to support ages 17-24 who are at risk of or struggling with homelessness. We primed a room, kitchen, and bathroom. We used that time to laugh, rap, and bond!

The Warrior’s Initiative had a amazing time at this year’s Kwanzaa celebration! Ty’Keice, Cleven and Edreese worked with 4 of their youth to perform on NIA. Their performance consisted of drill movements and showcasing their knowledge of self-mastery!
