Gibson is getting his kayak together, an Old Town Sportsman fishing with the PDL. He dragged a fully-rigged, fishing kayak all the way up here from Columbus, GA so he can paddle around and catch fish.

He's got rod holders, a fishing kayak seat ALL the tools and space for a few rods! All that is left to do is get the PDL installed in the kayak and get in the water.

Its no secret that much of Ranger School sucks. But don't waste time comparing classes and worry about which was better or which was worse, manage your expectations and expect that "its gonna suck no matter what". It is meant to test your mettle. Put your head down, keep working and get it done!

There’s an exact science to picking a road trip pit stop. When we rolled into a tiny South Carolina town on the hunt for military surplus deals and saw the local Waffle House, Gibson called it immediately: "You know this one is gonna be GOOD."

He nailed it. Hot coffee, perfect hashbrowns, and pure roadside gold. Huge shoutout to the cook and servers—amazing food and even better people! America, ya gotta love it.
