Columbus Fashion Alliance was proud to join CBUS Retail at theloomcolumbus for Fashion Reimagined: The Business of Resale, Recycling & Circularity.

We were grateful to sit in on a special conversation between Ryan Burgess of Goodwill Columbus and Nichole Konkolewski, founder and creator of NK Creations, moderated by Maria Seguin. Together they explored upcycling, fashion, and the many ways these worlds intersect, from sustainability to storytelling to what it really means to give clothing a second life.

We’re proud to continue building a future where fashion has the resources, space, and support to thrive in Columbus, and it’s only possible with the support of community.

Thank you Ohio Arts Council we are more than grateful to receive a recent grant award. It allows us to continue advancing fashion as art, culture, education, and economic opportunity in Columbus creating more opportunities for designers, artists, makers, entrepreneurs, and creatives to access resources, develop their craft, build community, and grow.

As we continue building a stronger creative ecosystem in Columbus, support like this helps us bring people together, amplify creative voices, and demonstrate the role fashion can play in shaping the cultural and economic future of our city.
