This Independence Day feels a little different here in the Texas Hill Country.

As we celebrate our nation's 250th birthday, we also remember the strength, kindness, and resilience that carried our community through difficult days. We're grateful for the neighbors who showed up, the friendships that grew stronger, and the hometown spirit that reminds us what America is all about.
