Church outfit approved and honestly this combo might be on repeat for a while. The Scout Black Pants from Z Supply are one of those pieces I reach for again and again because they are just as comfortable as they are cute. Paired them with the Mara Top by Dylan and I feel polished enough for church and relaxed enough for family time right after.

The jewelry is classic and honestly the kind of pieces that just work with almost everything in your closet. You will find yourself reaching for them more than you expect.

Well, this little romper changed my entire plan for today and I have zero regrets. This patchwork overall romper from POL just arrived yesterday and I could not wait to put it on. It is lightweight, comfortable, and so stinking cute in person.
Here’s what you need to know before you shop it though. Every single one is unique, so yours will look a little different than the photo online, but they all follow the same beautiful color story. I’m wearing a small for reference and it does run big. I also threw a tank underneath because I wanted a little more coverage, just keeping it real with you.
POL pieces tend to fly out the door fast, so if you love it, don’t wait on it.
I layered on some TOVA pieces to lean into the vintage chic vibe this romper was already giving, and my Cora Jade Floral necklace was the perfect finishing touch. It just has a way of going with everything and making me smile every single time I put it on.

Okay can we talk about this dress for a second? The Hayes summer plaid dress is giving me all the preppy valley girl vibes from growing up on the coast in the eighties and I am so here for it.

I layered the Dani Trucker Jacket from Z Supply over it because I know myself and the AC is not my friend. This jacket goes with just about everything in your closet, so pairing it with this dress was a no brainer.
My TOVA earrings and a couple of TOVA bracelets tied the whole thing together with the perfect little pop of sparkle, and I had to mention the Nippies I’m wearing under this dress because spaghetti straps and summer tanks basically require them. They are comfortable, they stay put, and if you need a little extra lift they even have a tab version for that. Honestly a summertime must have.
I also snuck in this USA sweatshirt done in pastel florals instead of red white and blue. A little rebellious, a little pretty, and it actually coordinates with the plaid in this dress perfectly.

This outfit is really cute. Like… every single piece could stand on its own and be a total favorite. 😍

Pants first: the Lyra striped pants from Urban Daizy are SO flattering and comfortable. They’re not a true barrel and not a full balloon… more like the best mix of both. They taper at the bottom in a way that’s fun and cute without being tight on the ankle. And the stripes? Perfection.

Now the top: Dylan is so good at taking a simple, classic shape and adding little details that make it feel special. The tiny pleat at the sleeve gives it a hint of balloon (not too balloony ), and the button details with that little pleat down the front… it’s lightweight, cool, feminine, and just easy to wear.

And then… TOVA. This is what makes the whole outfit pop. I’m wearing the Felicity necklace (that big gorgeous cross) layered with my midnight lapis necklace from another line, and it ties the top and bottom together so perfectly. Of course: TOVA on the ears, TOVA on the arm. A little sparkle goes a long way, ladies.

It’s Memorial Day… and it’s not really about sales, BBQs, or a day off. (None of those things are bad, we just don’t want to lose the true focus of what today is.)

Today is a day to remember what it has cost to live in a free nation. The freedom to speak, to live as you are, and to worship and believe without persecution. People willingly gave their lives so that we could live in that kind of freedom. That is no small, flippant thing.

I’m not on a soapbox! I simply want to honor the real spirit of Memorial Day.
To those who have lost someone, we grieve with you, and we thank you.
To those who serve, have served, and are still with us… thank you. I see you, I honor you, and I’m praying for you today.
