A DST that looks great on a polo or T-shirt may not stitch the same way on a cap.

Caps have a curved surface, different hooping conditions, and often a center seam. Your logo may need adjustments to:

🧵 Stitch sequence
↔️ Stitch direction
📏 Density and compensation
🔤 Small lettering
🧢 Center-seam handling

Simply loading your Left Chest DST onto the cap machine can lead to distortion, gaps, or registration problems.

Don't rush to digitize everything again.

If your embroidery has:

❌ Puckering
❌ Small text that's hard to read
❌ Gaps between colors
❌ Uneven outlines
❌ Excessive thread buildup

The DST may only need adjustment—or it may be better to rebuild the file from scratch.

**Send us your DST file, original logo, and a photo of the sew-out. We'll help identify the problem and recommend the right fix.** 🔍

3D Puff can give a cap logo a bold, raised look—but not every logo is naturally suited for it.

Before you place an order, send us your artwork and let us check:

✔ Letter thickness
✔ Small details
✔ Spacing between elements
✔ Open areas in the design
✔ Overall size and placement

If some parts aren't ideal for puff, they may be adjusted or combined with flat embroidery instead.
