๐ญSo this happened. ๐
๐Story time. This is a thank you P0st FYI: but itโs a long one so buckle up.
Iโve been working in the direct sales industry since December of 2016. My Sophia was 2 and Gideon was 6months old (Sammie wasnโt around yet ๐). My first gig- I ran a boutique out of my home and threw parties in peoples homes. I lugged my clothes everywhere I went and even set up shop in small businesses. Wracks, hangers, tables, shopping bags, clothes: the works. I traveled out of state and did parties back-to-back on a weekend only to turn around and drive 6 hrs home. Yes- your stylist was a busy bee hustling hard in pursuit of her dreams to pay off her student loans and forge a better finically sound future.
๐Hereโs what happen: i worked so hard i barely remember the last 6 months of my sons first year of life. Donโt get me wrong, I acquired a great amount of skill and learning experience and my kids are doing great.. but time is a commodity that you canโt put a price on or get back. This is what also happen: the majority of the time I was pushing the hardest I was still paying off my investment and my initial goal was never attained by the time I burnt out. I have a great amount of respect for small business owners as theyโre the backbone of our country and the reason why so many pursue the American dream. But when youโre a SAHM.. itโs a challenge to take that road because as most of us know.. a motherโs work is more than a full time job.
๐คSo hereโs my thank you. For choosing me as your stylist, your leader or even someone you look up to. Hereโs my thank you for supporting my goals and shopping with me- because now I can actually say Iโm reaching my goals and I donโt have to trade the best of my first dream in pursuit of another dream. I get to pause during the day and cuddle my kids.
I get to serve my best friends who are also my clients. I get to teach others how to create income flow without taking out loans- where they can actually pay off a small business investment the same month they make it.
๐โโ๏ธAnd I get to finally go on a company paid vacation. Which isnโt my initial goal but definitely a cherry on top. ๐
