That "Native-inspired" jewelry may not be Native made, and that difference is protected by law.
The Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 requires art to be marketed truthfully about the artist's Native Nation citizenship. Before you buy: look for documentation, check the vendor's authenticity claims, and ask for written verification that the work was made by a Native Nation citizen or certified Native artist.
