That "Native-inspired" jewelry may not be Native made, and that difference is protected by law.

The Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 requires art to be marketed truthfully about the artist's Native Nation citizenship. Before you buy: look for documentation, check the vendor's authenticity claims, and ask for written verification that the work was made by a Native Nation citizen or certified Native artist.

When you buy Native from Native artists, you protect Native cultural heritage and invest in the next generations of Native creators!

As some of you know, last week on July 9th I donated my kidney to my husband at UMMC in Jackson Ms. we will have to remain in Mississippi for the next 4 weeks recovering near the transplant center. I have started back sewing a little here and there. I give out easily right now. Thank you for your continued support and prayers for us. God is Good🙌🙌

Today is my Etsy one year anniversary. One year ago today I shipped my very first order with Etsy today. I have shipped my 964th order with a total of 1249 skirts sold in one year. For those of you who don’t know my story over a year ago my husband was diagnosed with stage four kidney disease and put on dialysis seven days a week and also on the kidney transplant list. We had started our business in January of last year as a part-time business and I still worked a full-time job as well . Once he started dialysis, and we realized that the whole kidney transplant process would not be a quick process. We took a leap of faith and turned our part-time business into my full-time job, That way I could take care of my husband and with him for all of his appointments and dialysis seven days a week.. when I tell you that God has abundantly blessed us. I can’t praise him enough.  Looking back over the last few years would I have ever thought that this is where I would be today , no but Being a Business owner and indigenous artisan now is my joy and passion . I love my job and all the fabulous people that I have been allowed to meet this past year and  forever thankful. Thank you for allowing me to have a job where I can care for my husband and take care of all of you as well.
