Nestled in the Youghiogheny River valley, Youghiogheny Yarns is the creation of husband and wife team, Todd & Keri Fosbrink. Both were raised in southwestern Pennsylvania and have strong family ties here. Keri is an avid knitter and crocheter who has dabbled with various types of hand dying over t

he years. She comes from a long line of hand crafters. Her love of handmade items and inspiring colorways is what prompted them to start Youghiogheny Yarns. Color is everywhere in the Youghiogheny valley no matter the season, and Youghiogheny Yarns wants to help you bring some of that color into your life and projects. All of my drawings are done by hand whether I do them with pencil and pen or in Adobe Illustrator.

This series of pics walks you through a drawing from start to finish. Simple pencil strokes are my favorite place to start ❤️ Once I'm happy with the finished drawing, I ink the lines to make it easier to scan and digitize.

This rose will eventually become part of a new pattern collection. Good things take time!

In honor of the last day of Tour de Fleece, here are two pieces of artwork featuring fun little sheep.

The first one is titled "Ewe be Ewe".
The second I'm calling "A Fleece of a Different Color".

I think these would be adorable on shirts and bags. I'm considering opening a small online shop with POD art prints, shirts, totes, etc.
