This Sansui G-5500 and Cerwin-Vega L-7 duo really pair well together. For a bookshelf speaker, the L-7 really packs a full sound stage. The Sansui receiver is in beautiful condition, and all pots and switches have been cleaned and tested. I can’t say enough good about this receiver. It sounds amazing! (Price is for both the receiver and the speakers.)

I am selling this Pioneer stereo equipment as a pair OR individually. Both are fully functional and the SA-8500, with the exception for the little ding along the top edge, is immaculately clean. It was very well taken care of over the years. Both are fully functional and all pots and switches have been cleaned.

Pioneer SA-8500 ($500 without tuner): 2-channel integrated stereo amplifier featuring defeatable, twin bass and treble controls, balance control, microphone input with level control, loudness switch, muting switch, low and high filter circuits and connections for two speaker systems.

This rare matched set of Realistic integrated amp and tuner really showed the Radio Shack house brand at its best. The faceplates are all brushed aluminum. The k***s and buttons are all metal, and the cabinets are real wood veneer. The build quality on the inside matches that of the exterior. This was a top-of-the line duo from the end of the 70s-era of stereo equipment.

I’ve replaced bulbs, done some minor repairs, cleaned all pots and switches and given it a thorough testing. This set sound great and looks incredible!

Newly refurbished!
This pair of AR-2A speakers from Acoustic Research has recently been brought back to life. (Please note - Stands are NOT included!)

Here is a list of the work done:
- New grill cloth (with original frames!)
- New AR brass badges
- Crossover capacitors replaced
- Newly reconed and refoamed woofers
(Done by Allen Speaker Reconing of Houston)
- Dual midrange replaced on one speaker
- all drivers sealed with proper sealant putty, which is necessary for acoustic suspension speakers!
- Potentiometers flushed (may need some occasional knob-turning, but I wanted to leave these original)

I have these hooked up to a Pioneer SA-8500 integrated amplifier, and they sound great!

Pioneer 9500 matched stack with original Pioneer wood cases. These 3 wood cases are all specific to the component - side cuts-outs and vented top for the integrated amp, vented top for the tuner, and solid for the equalizer. I spent months tracking down the original cases for these!
