Gave this vintage handstiched Drunkard’s Path quilt a whole new purpose. I've been saving her for the fall, but we can pretend, right?
There’s just something magical about giving an old quilt a second life. 🧵
This vintage Drunkard’s Path quilt had already traveled through time, carrying all those beautiful colors, fabrics, stitches, and imperfections that make vintage quilts so special.
Instead of letting it continue to hide away, I gave it a new chapter — transforming it into a one-of-a-kind quilted pillow! 🪡
And then I took a piece of the vintage quilt and turned it into a sweet little church appliqué ⛪️
I love that the original quilt isn’t erased or forgotten. Its vintage fabrics are still there, but now they’ve become something new that can be enjoyed every day.
This is what I love most about working with vintage textiles: preserving the past while creating something completely new.
What else do you want to see from this gorgeous quilt? Let me know in the comments.
