Hello to all our wonderful friends and customers!!

So if you’ve been in the shop recently you’ve probably heard us make the comment of ‘playing catch up’. We are currently implementing a new scheduling system so we will have a more concrete and realistic timeline on when your items will be completed. We’ve already started using this system with our formal items and we are loving how it is working.

We are in the process of backtracking all of our regular alterations work to the new system and will be using it going forward so that not only can we have a better idea of the items that need to be completed everyday, but so that we can update our customers with more regularity and with completion dates that work for everyone.

One of the things we are going to be doing for at least the rest of this year is picking 1-2 Thursdays a month where the shop will be closed, so we have the entire day to do nothing but work on the items that have been sitting to get ourselves caught up. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this causes, but Thursdays tend to be days with few to no appointments made already so that works best for us with the smallest impact on our regular customers and fitting schedule.

So our first Thursday for the month of September will be 9/10. So we will be CLOSED that day but will be happily working to get your items done.

Again we thank you for your patience and your continued patronage as we make this huge transition to account for all the new items coming our way.

We just wanted to update our wonderful clients that Tuesday, 6/23, we will not be doing fittings or appointments. We will be using that day as a catch up day so we can continue to get your items back to you as timely as possible.

We will also be closed on Friday, 7/3, so we can all enjoy the holiday weekend as we observe the 4th.

Good Morning!!!

We just wanted to update our online customers that we no longer be taking appointment scheduling on our page. We have made the decision that between calls, texts, and messages to our business page, keeping up with the scheduling online as well as in store is just too much. We want to be able to give our customers prompt replies and avoiding double booking clients. All of you deserve the best treatment we can offer and making this change is going to allow us to keep up with things much easier.

We thank you for your understanding in this matter and look forward to seeing you in the near future for all your alteration needs.

It’s that time again….

As prom season begins and we have girls from the surroundings counties coming in, we realize that between drive time and school our regular hours make it a challenge to get in for prom fittings. After much discussion, we have decided to extend our hours for the duration of prom season.

MARCH/APRIL 2026

TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND FRIDAY 10-5

SATURDAYS APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE:

MARCH 7TH
MARCH 28TH
APRIL 11TH
APRIL 18TH
APRIL 25TH

We want to note to our customers with regular alterations that during this time we are dealing with an exceptional amount of formal alterations and while we will always do our best to accommodate the needs of all our customers, our return time is going to be longer than it normally is. Nancy does her very best to help with the more basic alterations and repairs, but there are things she simply doesn’t know how to do yet. She does her best to keep me on schedule with ALL our clients, but things happen and we appreciate any and all patience during this season.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers and invite you to celebrate with us as we reach our 1 year anniversary in our new location (March 4th). Thank you for supporting us in this great location and helping us expand our business.

Fabric is one of the newer additions here and something we’re really excited to keep expanding.

Most people still know us for alterations, but if you sew, have a project idea, or just want to browse locally instead of driving out of town, you can now do that here too.

Inventory changes often, so if you’re looking for something specific, just ask. Chances are we either have it or can help you track it down.
