Monday Makeover. Added teas: peach rooibos and hibiscus lemon lift are new flavors. Added horses to the apples. Can’t forget the antique window and gold metal birds and butterflies to check out. Collectibles on shelf is newly added as well. Newly added boxed jewelry located in medical glass case.

Christmas in July is coming in so stay tuned and also check out other vendors and section for it too in store.

Often you already have that “something special” but looking for it to go into a basket for gift or display.

Just added today: French wire basket, French wrought iron wine holder, sugar packet holder and some chicken wire baskets. The wrought iron pieces really have good weight to them so can feel the quality. I have some others and have seen many really nice baskets throughout the store too.

Come check them out in the back room of Five Ol Heifers. Tuesday - Saturday from 9:30 to 5:30.

Granny’s Vintique and Paws Pantry are proud supporters of the Lampasas County Fair. We donated silent auction baskets today and was able to grab a sneak peak video.

Funds raised at the silent auction go to support vocational scholarships and the 36 Club many projects including the County Fair, Lampasas Police Department, Fire Department and Sheriff’s Office plus many other local organizations.

Not too late to enter the County Fair as drop off is tomorrow evening and open to surrounding counties and visitors to Lampasas.

Monday Makeover. Sorry late but this one took some time as vanity set sold so new piece hauled in. We will still have plenty of jewelry just showcased in different way. Lots of new cast iron pieces in plus highlight on apples and fruit for back to school edition. Don’t forget a gift for meet the teacher.

Rare Antique find of the week added. 1900-1930’s Art Deco medical sterilizer. Sterilizers used in medical and barber shops. Guess is medical based on partial certificate that shows letters that start spelling of doctor at bottom of tray. Given age definitely still has lingering “sterile” smell when open door. Has 2 original glass shelves.

Would make great medicine cabinet especially someone in the medical field who wants a piece of history.

Love researching the history of rare finds. I want to know more if anyone has any info or if I come across more than what I discovered so far I will post.
