It began in December 2009 when Kate Chan had an epiphany moment during a sabbatical from a successful 26 year Finance career to pursue another passion. She began the process of starting and building a venture focused on eco-conscious fashion accessories that has heart and soul, lovingly made by artisans, families and communities in the Philippines using natural and sustainable materials that delight and surprise. This personal journey has evolved into an amazing life of its own, connecting the dots from Kate's beautiful, happy, eclectic and unconventional childhood in the Philippines, her love of the exotic, travel and adventure to embracing life in America where she prospered in becoming a respected and successful Banker of 26 years. She is also an Entrepreneur who believes in creating, inspiring and providing opportunities that makes a difference in people's lives. She is a Woman who believes that the KATE CHAN Woman is an embodiment of beauty, strength, grace, style, passion, versatility, individuality and resilience, a Woman with heart and soul.
