Pee-wee Herman and Elvira entertained generations. But behind the characters were Paul Reubens and Cassandra Peterson — a friendship that lasted for decades.

To celebrate that friendship, we created the first officially licensed Pee-wee Herman × Elvira crossover t-shirt ever made.

The Bull Airs x Pee-wee Herman collection is officially open for pre-order.

This collection started years ago.

When we launched Bull Airs, there were a handful of dream licenses we hoped we might one day have the opportunity to work on. Pee-wee Herman was at the very top of that list.

Like so many people, we grew up watching Pee-wee's Playhouse. It wasn't just a TV show. It was a world that encouraged creativity, imagination, and individuality. It taught an entire generation that it was okay to be different.

When we finally had the opportunity to create this collection, we knew it couldn't just be another licensed release.

We spent months researching, sourcing materials, reviewing reference pieces, creating samples, and refining details.

We worked closely with the Pee-wee team to ensure every piece felt authentic to the character, the world Paul Reubens created, and the fans who grew up with him.

The collection centers around one of the most iconic costumes in television history: Pee-wee's Glen plaid suit and signature red bowtie.

The High Tops and Low Tops reinterpret that famous look as premium footwear, complete with custom Glen plaid materials and a removable Pterri keychain.

The Bomber Jacket transforms the suit itself into wearable outerwear.

The Snapback uses matching Glen plaid fabric and features Paul's signature hidden beneath the brim as a tribute to the man behind the character.

We also wanted to celebrate other chapters of Paul's creative legacy.

The Windbreaker draws inspiration from his colorful JCPenney apparel collection from the 1980s and serves as a bridge to the world of Pee-wee's Playhouse.

The Pee-wee & Elvira tee honors the friendship between Paul Reubens and Cassandra Peterson — two creative icons whose influence continues to inspire fans today.

Throughout the collection you'll find hidden references, custom details, and tributes designed for the people who grew up with Pee-wee and never forgot him.

This collection is our love letter to Paul Reubens, the character he created, and the joy they brought to millions of fans around the world.
