Here's another first that will surely not be a last. This was done as a consignment for a friend - one of many that were prolonged from my move from Coos Bay to Corvallis... Anyway - she asked for an "ochre blue" color scheme and I felt relived to hear a confirmation of gratitude upon delivery. The dress was ordered from as the dyes used in this, and all my work.

Well.. now that the shirts have been dispensed and displayed, I can share them. When Paul asked me to do these dyes for the Sound and Light crew at , I was thrilled to have my shirts sported by the folks making things happen on the interior. He said they didn't need to have a cohesive color scheme, so I kinda got into it. I really enjoyed the freedom of applying a unique color scheme to each shirt. I couldn't share every shirt in this post so you'll see the rest above.. ^^^

Well, I'm not mad about my first go at a UFO design.. this, much like the story in my last post, was a shirt I tied up back in April (before moving back to Corvallis) and transported (tied but un-dyed) with me through the move. I was nervous about this one before the move even happened - a design I hadn't tried before, just a lot of me fearing the "unknown," as we humans do.. Anyway. Here it is!

Long time no see! I really put my "heart" into this dye..

I have had a lot of life changes over the past few months, but long story short, I have finally gotten to a place where I'm back to producing tie dye. Now I'm trying to remember social media 😅.

I tied this shirt (a 4x) up in Coos Bay, OR back in March.. it was a shirt for a friend, on consignment. I ended up moving back to Corvallis, OR, and transporting this shirt with me, tied up, soaked in Soda Ash. It wasn't until about June 10th that I was able to finish the dye process. I followed through and was quite nervous to see if it was even worth trying to finish a shirt that I tied up 3 months prior.. well, I was happy with the results. The spine on the back was flawless, in my opinion.
