I'm participating in the semi-annual end-of-season cash sale with The Clothes Tree and Seoul Sisters in the building at 254 SW Madison — DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET from the old Shoe Hutch Location, now home of Grass Roots Books.

I've still got a couple hundred pairs of womens' shoes that need good homes. Low "adoption fees" — prices ranging from $10 to $40 or so... Best selection is for the "end sizes" — 6½, 7, 9, 9½, 10 — but all sizes are represented.

The sale runs three days: Friday, Jan. 24; Saturday, Jan. 25; and Sunday, Jan. 26. Not sure the hours at the moment, but "regular business hours" are probably a safe bet.

It's truly a "cash sale," so you'll need to hit the ATM and party like it's 1984... TONS of awesome clothes, too!!!

Well, this weekend, July 19 to 21, is the Corvallis downtown Crazy Days sidewalk sale. The Clothes Tree is kind enough to let me put up a few tables of unsold Shoe Hutch shoes that need good forever homes.

Everything is marked below cost price, most tagged between $20 and $40 a pair. The most expensive thing I've priced so far, a half dozen pairs of SAS walking shoes, are $60 (formerly $180 retail).

It is looking like I will have mostly women's shoes available at this point with some men's sandals. I do have a bunch of men's things in the back of the storage unit but I'm not sure I will be able to get to them. I've got one day to work on it, we'll see.

I will be on the street from about 9 am to 6 pm, Friday and Saturday. I don't think I will be able to take credit cards, so bring greenbacks or a checkbook.

Come on down and say hello!

Well, we're coming down the home stretch at The Shoe Hutch — the last day of shoe retailing is Saturday, December 23. ALL SHOES REMAINING ARE 50% OF THE MARKED PRICE — and almost everything has already been marked down 20 to 40% for the racks! It's a FANTASTIC deal for the customers...

"With prices like that, how can they stay in business???"

PLEASE stop by the store in downtown Corvallis between now and then and see if there are any shoes you can give a happy home in your closet! Shoes also make great Christmas gifts if you know a person's size and taste...

We still have way, way, way too many shoes for this late in the sale... As of today, Dec. 12, I estimate we have more than 1,000 pairs of women's shoes and more than 500 pairs of men's shoes.

Remaining sizes on the women's size are particularly deep for the sizes 6-1/2 and 7 on the small end and 9 through 10 on the large end.

On the men's side we have EXCELLENT remaining inventory from sizes 10 to 13, with lighter representation sizes 8-1/2 to 9-1/2.

One thing you can do that will help us more than anything is TELL YOUR FRIENDS about our Going Out of Business sale! We need a steady stream of people through the door to rehome our remaining inventory.
