We are permanently closed!!

Hello Everyone,
I would like to announce that M&J costumes will be closing permanently. A lot of reasons why we are closing but the main reason; my mother who owns the barn is moving, so I will not have a place for my costumes. 😞
We will hopefully around October to be able to sale some of the costumes, and accessories.
Please keep a eye out on that date.
I am really going to miss it and all of my customers . I am ok about this change, because My life has taken a different path at this time.
Thanks everybody having fun dressing up at the Costume shop. We will miss you all.

CHRISTMAS COSTUME RENTALS

Yes, we do rent Santas and other Holiday costumes. We only have 5 standard and 1 4X Santas. You need to reserve the costume/s as soon as you can, to make sure we have one on the day you need it.

Rental Cost:
Santa Clause: $45 for 24 hrs if you need it longer it's only $5 more each day that you need it.
Includes: Pants, Jacket, Beard, wig, belt, boot covers, gloves and hat.
Mrs. Clause: $40 for 24 hrs. If you need it longer $5 more each day you need it.
Includes: Dress, glasses, apron, wig and mop bonnet
Elves: $35 for 24 hrs. If you need it longer $5 more each day you need it.
Includes: Tights/Pants, shirt, hat, wig (depends on which costume) belt and booties.
Please contact me to make a appointment to put a reserve on Santa, Mrs. Clause, Elves or Snowman. You will need to reserve a few days/weeks before you need to rent the costume.

She came into the shop today, she wanted to be a Devil, this what she left with. We can do so much with costumes we have. If you have an idea, bring it with you and we can figure what works best for you.

This year we will be doing appointments only because of COVID & I am working 2 other jobs.

*Sunday, Monday & Tuesday: 11a- 8pm (Sunday the 10th we will be only open for appointment 11a-3p)

*Friday- 8th & 22nd: Open 11a-3pm (with 3pm last appointment)

*Wednesday and Thursdays: Closed

*Friday - 1st, 15th, & 29th : Closed

M & J Costume Rentals may not have all the newest Costumes, but we do have over 50 years of costume collection and adding new costumes each year. Most of our costumes are unique.

What makes us different then other costume stores?
1. We believe in renting a whole costume, where you do not need to go out and buy additional accessories.
2. Our costumes starts at $35 to $85 plus deposit.
3. You can rent a costume anytime through October and keep it until Nov. 2 or 3.
4. You can try on the costume.
5. We work with you until we find the costume that makes you go "Wow."

With Covid-19 we are open by appointment only. We have a 4 costume limit to try on. It would best to make sure you have your measurements.

We will be open starting Oct. 1 by appointment only. Our days and time avaible for appointments
Thursday to Saturday
Thursday and friday: first appointment starts at 12:00 and last at 6:00
Saturday: 11a-6:00

Due to the Covid-19 Virus, the shop will be open to help customers by appointment only. Please leave anyone home who will not be renting a costume. With children if they need a costume, please keep them by your side at all times. Thank you.

We can pre-select costumes for your events and activities and have them ready to try on or pick up at the door. Please, give me 48 hours before pick-up appointment. I will need your exact measurements and the costume you are interested in. You can look at pictures we have here or list of different costumes we have here. If we do not have the costume your are interested in, please let me know we may be able to put one together for you. Just send me a picture of costume and your measurements, I can see what I can do. Then I can send you a picture I did, so you can see if it will work for you. Just remember, I may not be able to put a exact costume together you may be interested in.

We will require anyone entering our space to wear face-masks to protect our staff.

Once you try on costumes, those not selected will be held in 'quarantine' for a minimum of 48 hours before returning to the inventory racks. All costumes that have been worn are cleaned before being placed in the aisles for rental again.

We will be wiping down counter tops and door handles prior to each appointment and will do all we can to keep both you and our staff healthy.
