Hi all! News Flash Life Change happening!

Elly’s Cleaners went out of business a couple days before Christmas. Not enough business to pay the bills. We took diapers to the laundromat, and we are winding down Diaper Tales diaper service for now. It’s not what I wanted and what is happening.

Cloth For Kids will be taking on the washing for our low income families.

I am looking at this huge opening, and dreaming about walking again. I started talking about the possibility of walking the Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail while walking the Camino across Spain last Summer. I have wanted to walk the Appalachian Trail since reading about it as a kid!!!! I never thought it could be a reality, with the way my joints and body works. I know now that I create myself better by walking!
The walking is the work! So stay tuned!

Progress! A Bodega in Reliegos, and an amazing artist in our kitchen of the Municipal Albergue! She draws all her new friends! I asked if I could take a picture and she said yes, and then I said I want one with you! She said she is shy. She is from Taiwan, and I don’t remember her name! She is fantastic!
Love her style! ❤️🙌🏼❤️

We just had our appointment with legal counsel. They said absolutely, chaining the doors is illegal. They have not gone through proper procedure. We have sent a letter asking for them to be removed within 24 hours. Beyond that the lawyer said to meet with police at the door to gain access. It’s $4000 to retain the lawyers if we want to sue them. It’s $6000 to pay for October and November. Plus $2700 for December. We are tapped out financially. We want to be able to continue, my concern is we will not be able to recover. Just wanting to update you all. I am completely blown away with the mess this whole situation is.
