This newest one-of-a-kind quilted jacket was handmade here in Cotuit for the woman who loves elevated handmade fashion with comfort and versatility. Made with premium Michael Miller fabrics, quilted on my Bernina longarm machine with Quilters Dream wool batting for a breathable lightweight loft.
Finished with silver nautical wheel buttons inspired by the coastal pattern itself.
Perfect from casual seaside days to club lunches and evenings out.

Some coats are simply worn.
Others carry a story.
Just finished this one-of-a-kind quilted coat for my Fabric & Soul collection inspired by ocean tides, shells, sandy beaches, and maritime history. Handmade using beautiful Kaffe Fassett fabrics, custom sandy-gold binding, perfectly matched quilting lines, and authentic vintage Waterbury Button Company brass military buttons from the 1970s U.S. Sealift Command.
The oversized pockets, soft drape, coastal color palette, and heirloom details make this piece both artistic and wearable.
Designed, quilted, and sewn by me here in Cotuit, Cape Cod.

🌿 Just listed: a shirt that has a story to tell.
I made this from two beautiful vintage linens — the kind you find and immediately know deserve a second life. The front is covered in vibrant, jewel-toned embroidered roses (purple, blue, gold, red). The back has a soft, neutral hand-stitched botanical pattern. Together they became something I'm genuinely proud of.
Construction details for those who care about craft: French felled seams, darts for shape, bias-bound neck and sleeve facings, scalloped hem front and back.

Color has always been part of my creative life — from quilts to covered Adirondack chairs and now this one-of-a-kind quilted coat handmade here in Cotuit for my Fabric & Soul collection.
This piece combines vibrant Kaffe Fassett fabrics, machine piecing and quilting, thread-painted sleeves, handmade binding, and gold military-style buttons that give it a distinctive coastal vintage feel. Every detail was carefully finished by hand and machine with the same attention I bring to all of my textile work.

Some creations begin with a pattern.
This one began with a feeling.
I wanted to make something bright.
Not just colorful… but joyful, fearless, unforgettable bright.
The first fabrics on the table were full of rich fall tones, oversized blooms, wild prints, and layers of color that honestly shouldn’t have worked together — except somehow they did. Every step led to another idea, another change, another creative twist I didn’t see coming when I first started cutting.
Hours of arranging. Rearranging. Quilting. Stepping back.
Trusting instinct more than rules.
This coat is being made completely from scratch using beautiful Kaffe Fassett fabrics, and every panel tells part of the story. No two sections are exactly alike, which is exactly the point.
And I’ll tell you this now —
when I get this done, you won’t be able to say the person who wears this isn’t bright!
That’s the magic of wearable art.
It changes the room before you even speak.

Meet the Blue Floral Basket Sisters — a pullover tunic and a button-down blouse, both handcrafted from the same vintage appliquéd tablecloth. Those charming blue floral baskets and ribbon motifs were simply too beautiful to stay folded in a drawer. 🌸
Each piece is completely one-of-a-kind, sewn with French felled seams, finished with hand-chosen binding, and made to be worn and loved for years to come.

✨ New in the studio — Vintage Tablecloth Skirt
This beauty began its life as a vintage embroidered cotton tablecloth, and we couldn't let those intricate cutwork details and scalloped edges go to waste. So we reimagined it into a one-of-a-kind summer skirt — sustainably handmade right here in Cotuit, Cape Cod.
Elastic waistband, no side seams, back darts for shape, and a French felled center back seam with a walking slit. Fits approximately M–L. Priced at $138.
There is only one, and when it's gone, it's gone. 🌿

Just listed — the 1950s "Everyday Bloom" Tunic 🌸
This piece began as a vintage 1950s tablecloth with a cheerful floral print — and revealed itself slowly in the studio. The blues in the print were cleverly cut to coordinate with upcycled denim accents, as if the fabric always knew where it was going.
A soft ruffle runs down the front pocket. Lace finishes the neckline. A rounded denim yoke at the back gives it quiet structure. French felled seams throughout for a finish that lasts.
Very 1950s in spirit — practical and pretty, all at once.

Sometimes everything else gets set aside.
I found this vintage appliquéd tablecloth—baskets of flowers, each one carefully stitched—and I just knew. It wasn’t meant to stay folded away in a drawer.
Before I even made the first cut, I could see it… a soft summer tunic, easy to wear, carrying all that quiet handwork into a new life.
There’s always a moment of hesitation when I begin—honoring what it was—followed by that feeling of knowing what it can become.
This is that moment. ✂️🌿
