EXCITING NEWS EVERYONE!! In Stitches by Becky Scott is now an official donation location for Cinderella's Closet! (so new I'm not even on the website yet) I volunteered with them earlier this year, and it was such a heartwarming experience to watch the girls coming in for prom gowns and being treated like princesses. If you have questions or need info, feel free to reach out to me directly.

What do alterations professionals do in the "off season"? Aside from getting a start on the spring brides, and plenty of winter formalwear and casual wear, I present this: the things I do in the few quiet moments here. Featuring: Fixing my son's pants (you know what they say about the cobbler's children!), the yearly chair caster clean-out (those aren't my good scissors!), and some Angel Dress donations (made from discarded pieces of fabric from client gowns, so thank you!). Never a dull moment at the Hellmann Creative Center !
