Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers. Those that are present and those that have passed but remain present in our hearts and in the objects we hold dear. One thing I’ve learned through collecting old things is that mothers are everywhere in the past. In the handwritten letters, the saved photographs, and the pieces passed down because they meant something. Long after time moves on, traces of their love remain.

Wishing a peaceful Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures whose love helped shape the lives around them.

A bitter sweet day! The booth that started it all is gone! A new vendor has started a new chapter in their journey and I have closed one in mine. That’s the thing about life. We’re all headed in different directions and different paths but somehow our stories intertwine. And I think that’s part of the beauty in this world. I am so grateful to every single person that has played a part in this adventure in one way or another. It has meant more to this little soul than many of you will ever know. THANK YOU!

Today, over a thousand miles away, my husband and our girls got the keys to the new place we’ll call home! And though I’m sad I couldn’t be there for this moment, my heart is full because my children are happy to be back home! (And as soon as momma is done wrapping up business down here, we will all be in our new home together!)

This is not the end of The Time Traveler’s Parlor! It is merely part of the journey and I’m going to dream bigger than I’ve ever dared to dream! Because we get one chance at this thing called life. And I’ve lived far too long with fear and self doubt as my closest friends! Stay tuned…you haven’t seen the last of this middle aged girl! 😅
