Meet the ANRI Ferrándiz figurines — hand-carved in Italy, designed by an artist who’s no longer making them.
Spanish artist Juan Ferrándiz brought his designs to the ANRI workshop in Ortisei, South Tyrol — the heart of Italy’s woodcarving tradition. Every piece starts as a block of Alpine maple, carved and hand-painted, so no two are exactly alike.
Here’s the collector’s secret: Ferrándiz pieces are no longer produced, which makes each one a small, discontinued piece of Alpine art history. Flip it over — look for the “ANRI” stamp with “© Ferrandiz” signed beside it. That’s proof of authenticity.
