🌵☀️‼️ Hey friends! I have DREADED making this post. Felt if I didn’t say it out loud then it wouldn’t be true. It is with a sad heavy heart I tell you the boutique’s brick and mortar side will be no more. It was so much fun but so hard to make it turn a profit. After payroll, taxes and other expenses I started falling more and more in the red. Being a business person you understand the red isn’t always a bad place but unfortunately for this business it just wasn’t turning. I say all of this to express that my online boutique will stay open and I will still be available for orders and to help with your fashion choices. JANUARY 25th will be our last day! Unless we sell out of inventory before then.
The building, oh my how I love this building. We are lucky enough to own it out right. So we will be keeping it. We are renaming it the 1902 Lounge. Mackenzie Ross will be running her salon Black Roan Beauty in it. Mackenzie is a Crawford local with so much business sense. Having her be in this building to grow her salon means the world to me.
We may also add some other things but for now the building will be in the hands of Mackenzie. She has become a trusted partner and someone I really admire!
This isn’t goodbye but a see you later! It isn’t a failure but a pivot. You should always realize when things aren’t working. Never say we’ve always done it this way. You have to stay up with the changes and roll with the punches. So here’s to forward movement and continued progress for our town! Love you guys and the online Boutique is still here and available to you!
