If you didn’t notice, we posted on our stories yesterday for the first time in a while, so we thought it might be good to answer where we are now, and where have we been?
Mia and I have been recently discussing our business and what we wish to accomplish with it.
I think to start, it would be best to explain our absence - I, Callie, got married in May 2024. Since September of 2023, my focus had shifted from our business to getting married and enjoying that season of life. Mia’s sweet little girl turned one in July and her oldest is starting school, so she has been focusing on her family and her little ones.
We have had a few recent conversations in regards to our business and how we wish to proceed, which we wish to share with you all.
At this time, I believe we have decided to take a smaller approach to our business. We have two stores that carry our pieces, and we wish to continue stocking those areas. However, with this, we will be limiting our online presence. As I think we all know or at least hear, social media is hard. It’s not only a competitive space, but it also is very time consuming. It’s not how we feel we can best grow our business, and though we will not be disappearing, we will be posting more intentionally and be less worried about the “trends” that are circulating.
We also have taken some time to reevaluate our passions with this business, and with that, have decided to take a step back on polymer clay earrings and wax melts. Though these items will not simply disappear, we will not be making more for the foreseeable future. At this time, we are going to focus on creating graphic, pressed tees and custom items for our customers. We enjoy creating intentional items that can find a loving home, which helps lessen overall waste - instead of a product sitting on a shelf for months and months.
If you’ve made it this far in our long post, just know that we greatly appreciate each of you. Thanks for sticking with us as we navigate our small business in hopes of keeping it alive. Both Mia and I love Blondie and Brownie Studio and the connections we have made these past 3 years🤍
