A Letter from Marlene Lennox:

To All my dear friends and customers who have responded to the announcement of my retirement. I can only try to let everyone know how very much it meant to me. So many cards, calls, and posts I appreciated so much. As I read and reread each one, suddenly my memory takes me back to those wonderful memories of each of you. To the many beautiful past and present employees, the prom girls and boys, the lovely brides and grooms, mothers, grandmothers, me maws and great grandmothers. I love each and everyone. Thank you all for supporting me and making Lennox East the oldest Bridal store in our great state of Maryland. Your stories are my stories, and I will always remember you and be so grateful for the times we shared.

The wonderful world of fashion and bridal will always be in my heart. I was so blessed to be part of it, and l am still so blessed because of each of you. Most of all, then, now and forever I thank God, for allowing me to share his love and show his beauty in a little store named Lennox East. Going to work every day was never "going to work" for me it was a new day to meet new friends, old friends and customers. Helping in any way to meet your needs has always been my privilege and my pleasure.

I want you to know Ronnie - Ronnie comes to you highly educated, fully equipped with many talents and abilities. His sincere kindness and tenderness made me know he was the best choice to take over Lennox East. I ask all of you to join me in supporting him as you have supported me. I know he will continue in love, give honor to God for his gift and treat everyone of you with all his heart.

As I close my last chapter and Ronnie begins his first one, I pray for him always as God leads and guides him to even a greater success thru that little store named Lennox East. Lennox East was anchored and started with love. Love is our anchor and love never fails.

UPDATE:
Thank you all for your love and patience. Our main A/C unit has been fixed! Come and enjoy 25% off all our off-the-rack gowns this month only!

To all of our amazing and lovely customers, we hope you had a wonderful and joy-filled 4th of July weekend!

Due to the recent heat wave, our A/C has gone out in the store, and we are currently working to have it fixed. We will post an update here on our page once it's fixed.

In the meantime, we will still be open during our regular hours: weekdays 12-7, Saturday 10-6.

Since 1979, Lennox East has been honored to be part of countless weddings, proms, and family milestones throughout our community.

With her blessing, our beloved Marlene Lennox is passing the store on to Ronnie Breitfeller. The heart of the store remains the same—personal service, genuine care, and expert consultation tailored to you.

As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue that tradition with fresh energy while honoring everything that has made Lennox East what it is today.

We thank Marlene for her 50+ years of dedication to the business she and her husband built and for all of the love she has showed everyone in those years. Thank you for everything!

To everyone who has supported this store over the years, thank you. Your stories are part of its history—and part of what makes this place so special.
