☀️ Hello friends and happy Friday! ☀️Just wanted to post a little update real quick to say that we are NOT able to attend the Poke Sallet Festival in downtown Harlan this weekend. To be candid, we had a death in the family a little over a month ago and we simply haven’t had much time or creativity in the ole brain box to put in the prep work that goes into a festival. This has even included popups as we’ve also missed some of our favorite Whitesburg events this year as well.
It’s no secret I’ve been dealing with a real bad case of the burnouts the last couple years. I’ve been attempting some personal growth by focusing some efforts inward and really trying to simplify things both personally and professionally. This has been a difficult task and is still very much an ongoing effort as I’ve always had more ideas than common sense and my gene for doing the most and trying too hard is very vibrant. But, we do have a couple little exciting projects on the horizon with our friends that I’m excited to share a little later this summer. We’ve also had our eyes on a bit of a shop rebrand which has sparked some joy within lately and I’m looking forward to getting that going.
If anyone is out in Cumberland on this gorgeous weekend, the shop is open til 4 today and 11-5 Saturday. This is the last weekend we’ll be offering 50% off our discontinued and scratch and dent tees so be sure to check those out. We’ve also been adding goodies to our standing yardsale vendor section and it’s now spilling out and looking wonderfully tacky in front of our shop with lots of good finds.
