In 1990 we bought our house in Conroe. Daddy showed up a few months later with a big iron wagon wheel mailbox that he made for me as a surprise. I had no idea and always loved the one he made for his house. So for 20 something years, it was easy to find our house, look for the white wagon wheel mailbox. I repainted it every year at Christmas so my wide red velvet ribbon I wrapped around it looked like a candy cane. When we sold the house, I left it behind. It was really hard, but it was one of the things I had to just let go. Earlier this year, it came back to me. Rod set it in it's new home, right next to Papas Junk 1938. No words can Express what it means to me to look out my window and see The Wheel...💞

Building update! We have all the windows in. A breeze can blow through it now. 😁 Rod installed my coach lanterns, which I totally love. Electric has started and we have the a/c in as well. Looking forward to seeing the little lights flicker on the front this week.🥰

Pretty amazing to watch these young men take a 16x28 building off this semi in our street and never break a sweat. Then straight from the street, wheeled it into our drive and put it down within inches of our flags. I'm a new building delivery person, so I am freaking impressed. They leveled in 45 minutes flat and were out of here. Tomorrow we put in the french doors and get the measurements for the windows knocked out for shopping. You didn't think Rod was going to let anybody finish out any part of this studio, did you? 😆🥰🥰🥰 I'm beyond excited...❣ Thank you Leland Portable Buildings!

Finally...the building is scheduled for delivery today!! It is a blank slate with lots of dreams, plans and work waiting. Pictures this afternoon.
