Some interesting family history of mine that I just found out last year- a cousin of my dads traced our ancestry back to Mary Towne Easty. She is one of my great great x ?? grandmothers on my fathers side. She was accused of witchcraft and was hanged on Proctor’s Ledge at Gallows Hill in Salem this day, September 22, 1692 when she was 58 years old. My thoughtful mother in law picked up this packet about her while in Salem a while back. I’ve always been interested in the history of the Salem witch trials and it’s been really cool learning more about her. It’s really been making me think though while I’m over here putting out all my witchy Halloween decor, how absolutely insane the witch trials were…

Just finally unloaded my car from the amazing sale I went to on Saturday! When I saw the pictures online I knew I had to get there early- like 8:30 for the 10am start! I was number 4 in line. There were so many pieces of beautiful antique furniture I wish I had a truck! 🤣 these are the pieces I came home with!

Found at the flea on Labor Day! Is it rusty, crusty, dented and missing it’s lid?? Yes, it is, but with a $4 price tag I couldn’t leave it behind! It will look super cute with a little Christmas tree in it as well and I’m loving the old chippy rustic look!
