Let’s talk about something I see skipped ALL the time… heat protectant !
If you’re using ANY kind of heat on your hair (blow dryer, curling iron, flat iron), a heat protectant is not optional… it’s a must.
Think of it like sunscreen for your hair ☀️
•On WET hair:
Using a heat protectant before blow drying helps prevent moisture loss, breakage, and that rough, frizzy feeling. It also helps smooth the hair and gives you a better blowout overall.
Linseys go-to favorites for wet hair are the Redken Acidic Gloss Heat Treatment and the Kenra Blowout Spray.
•On DRY hair:
Before you go in with a curling iron or flat iron, this step protects your ends from frying and snapping off. It also helps your style hold better and keeps your hair looking shiny instead of dull.
For dry styling, I love the Moroccanoil Perfect Defense 🙌🏼
Skipping heat protectant = dryness, breakage, split ends, and faded color
If you’re investing in your hair color or extensions, this is one of the easiest ways to protect that investment!
Not sure which one to use? I can help you find the perfect one for your hair type 🤩🤩
