THE UNINVITED RV ROOMMATE

A TINY MOUSE. A BIG PERSONALITY.
AND ZERO RESPECT FOR PRIVACY.

It started with a noise.
Not a big noise. Not even a suspicious noise.
Just a tiny little “plink” from somewhere inside my RV.
I figured maybe a crumb rebelled.
I was wrong.

Because a few minutes later, I looked up from brushing my teeth, and there he was.

A tiny, juvenile mouse.
Dark, scruffy hair sticking out in every direction—like he just rolled out of bed without brushing or adjusting. “Good enough.”

He popped out from behind the toothbrush holder like he owned the place.
Bold. Fearless. Unbothered.
Like he pays rent.

This little dude can climb.
Not walk. Not scamper. CLIMB.
Bathroom cupboard? Easy.
Towel rack? Child’s play.
The man’s got vertical ambition.
I half expected him to do a pull-up just to show off.

I’ve searched high and low for how he got in. Checked every vent. Every gap. Every tiny opening. I even looked behind the fridge. (Twice. Maybe.)
At this point, I’m convinced he either
teleported in… or is part ninja.
Either way, he’s committed.

And the thing is—he’s not afraid of me.
Most mice see a human and freeze.
This guy sees me and goes,
“Oh, hey. You’re up early.”

He’ll pop out while I’m cooking, while I’m reading, even while I’m talking to him. He listens. He judges. He doesn’t care.

It’s like living with a tiny, scruffy roommate who pays no rent, makes no effort, and has absolutely no boundaries. He’s basically the bravest Airbnb guest who overstayed his welcome.

I don’t know how he got in.
But I do know this:
This RV may be mine—
But the bathroom cupboard?
That’s his penthouse.
He has to go.
