To my City Limits Studio family,
I’ve struggled to find the right words for this because City Limits Studio has never been just a business to me.
When I opened my little salon, I was learning as I went. Some of you have been with me from the very beginning. You sat in my chair while I learned new techniques, tried new products, celebrated successes, and occasionally figured things out the hard way. Looking back, there were probably times some of you should have given up on me, but you didn’t. You encouraged me, supported me, trusted me, and helped me build something I was incredibly proud of.
Over the years, many of you became far more than clients. You became friends. We shared stories about our children, grandchildren, marriages, vacations, celebrations, heartbreaks, and everyday life. You supported me through challenges and celebrated victories right alongside me.
Because of some significant family health challenges and major life changes, I have made the difficult decision to close City Limits Studio for the foreseeable future.
This decision was not made lightly. In fact, it breaks my heart.
The past several years have given me so much more than a career. They gave me friendships, laughter, purpose, and a community that I will always be grateful for.
While I am stepping away from the salon, please know I am not stepping away from the relationships. Life is moving quickly right now, and I simply don’t have the capacity to stay connected the way I would like. But I hope, as things settle, to check in with many of you personally. Some of you have been part of my life for so long that it feels impossible to imagine simply saying goodbye.
Thank you for your patience, your loyalty, your encouragement, your referrals, your grace when I was learning, and your friendship through the years.
