Burnout is real.

Authenticity is the new currency. Many of us are no longer willing to fake it or trade parts of ourselves for acceptance, belonging, or access. We want to show up fully as ourselves—in our jobs, friendships, families, and faith communities.

Maybe that’s why conversations around mental health, neurodivergence, sensory needs, boundaries, and self-regulation are finally finding language and gaining momentum.

And that’s a big reason why we created Hood Sensory: to give people more options to support themselves in real time. Not to change who they are, but to support who they already are.

We’ve been a little quiet on socials, but not quiet behind the scenes.

After reaching our campaign goal, my priority became protecting my capacity and pushing hard to finalize the prototype.

And y’all… this is really it.

After six years of development, this final prototype finally checks all my clinical OCD boxes and feels the closest to what I’ve envisioned from the beginning.

FINAL PROTOTYPE REVEAL:
We’ll be sharing more soon, including true color samples, progress updates, and testimonials.

Hello everyone,

We’ve officially moved into late pledges, and our tiers and pricing have been updated.

We’ve shared a full update on Kickstarter that includes a Late Pledge Tier Guide, current pricing, add-ons, and details on materials and production.

We also made the decision to keep some items at early backer pricing, including the Extended Size Core Comfort Hoodie at $150, and all add-ons remain at early pricing as well.
