FADE TO BLACK...but just for a while.
The hero disappears for a bit, the lights cut out, and nobody really knows what’s coming next. That’s where I am right now.
When I started Reel Halloween, I wasn’t just thinking about selling Halloween masks and props. My real hope was to create a space for anyone who loves this weird and wonderful season as much as I do. A place where we could all celebrate creativity, drown in nostalgia, or just enjoy that electric feeling as Halloween draws closer.
Real life stories can go off script in a hurry and shift in ways you don’t expect. I'm currently in a personal season of rebuilding. It's not just with Reel Halloween, but with myself, my life, my plans, and all of the awesome possibilities ahead. I need to align my focus differently if I want any of it to have a real shot.
Here’s what I’ve come to realize: dreams don’t just fall apart because you pressed pause or something in your life shifted. They fall apart when you let them go
So let me make it very clear, I’m not ending Reel Halloween. I’m putting it on pause because I care about it too much to fake it or take the easy way out. It deserves more than I’ve given, and I’m not okay with just letting it coast the way it has been. Honestly, look at this page. When’s the last time I posted? Yeah… not a great look.
Thanks to everyone who’s been there from the beginning. I hope you hang around, because this isn’t goodbye. It’s just a break while I get things sorted... and there’s a lot that needs sorting lol.
And hey, every horror movie has that one last jump scare, right? When I come back, I’ll be back for real. Great stories take time, and this one’s not done yet. I know I shouldn’t say this (it’s horror movie 101) but… I’LL BE RIGHT BACK!
