Today is a hard day.

It's the anniversary of the day the world lost our friend Aedan Mwangi.

There isn't a day that goes by that this group of kids doesn't think about his smile, his laugh, his heart for people, and the incredible young man he was becoming.

Rock Creek Church Camp was one of the places that shaped Aedan's life the most. It was there that he built lifelong friendships, grew in his faith, and felt God calling him into ministry.

As we've prepared our new home for The Refind Closet, we've been working on something that's incredibly close to our hearts.

Upstairs, you'll find Aedan's Room.

This special room will be filled with donation based thrift items, and 100% of the proceeds from Aedan's Room will go directly to Aedan's Ministry, a fund established in his memory to help send students to Rock Creek Church Camp who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to go.

There is no better way we can think of to honor Aedan than by giving other teenagers the chance to experience the same life-changing week that meant so much to him.

We're inviting our community to join us for LLA Fest tonight at 6:00 PM. LLA stands for Live Like Aedan, and this annual event is dedicated to raising funds for Aedan's Ministry so more students can experience the same life-changing camp that meant so much to him.

Thank you to everyone who has loved on all of our kids, prayed for them, remembered Aedan with them, and continues to help keep his light shining.

We hope you'll stop by Aedan's Room, and if you're able, join us tonight as we begin what we hope becomes a tradition of changing lives in Aedan's honor.

His story continues every time a student steps onto a camp bus because someone chose to shop, donate, or give.
