She spent a lifetime being seen. Near the end of it, she asked to be heard.

Hayden Panettiere spent nearly her entire life in front of us.

We watched her grow up. We watched the characters she played, the headlines written about her, the versions of her that Hollywood and the public thought they knew. And then… finally, she began telling us who she was.

In This Is Me: A Reckoning, Hayden wrote openly about the parts of her life that didn’t fit neatly inside a Hollywood story. The pain. The choices. The rebuilding. The work of finding herself beneath everything that had been written for her.

“I take each day as it comes. I’m doing the work, and I’m doing my best.”

There is something profoundly human in those words. She didn’t say, “I conquered everything,” or “I figured it all out.”

No. She said, “I’m doing the work. I’m doing my best.” Maybe that is something worth remembering today.

A life does not need to be uncomplicated to be beautiful. Healing does not have to be finished to be meaningful. And struggling does not erase the courage it took to keep choosing yourself along the way.

We don’t know the circumstances surrounding Hayden’s death, and they are not ours to invent. What we do know is that after a lifetime of other people telling her story, Hayden found her own voice.

So today, we choose to remember that voice.

Hayden Panettiere, 1989–2026. 🤍

New city. New chapter. Same instinct for what’s next. New Face Magazine is entering its next era in Dallas after years of growth in the Pacific Northwest. We are still fashion. Still identity. Still cultural foresight. Just with a wider horizon.
Fashion. Identity. What’s Next.

⭐️ Drop your brand + IG handle below. ⭐️

The algorithm keeps pushing the same people. The same MSM fashion sources, and anything but what “WE” all want.

For the record, we’re more interested in the ones building something real. The underdogs with soul. The quirky, hardworking, gotta create something with every fiber in my being folks.

Models. Stylists. Designers. Artists. Small brands. Musicians. Writers. Photographers. MUAHs. Weird creative geniuses with 317 followers and great taste. You get the idea.

New Face and its following would love to see what you’re working on. Over the next several months, we will pick 3 a week to highlight to our awesome followers. And, we will collaborate with 1 each week.

Sincerely, The New Face Magazine Team 🫶🏽✨

Fashion spent too long pretending perfection was the goal.

We’ve always been more interested in resilience and authenticity. 🤍

Back in 2019, Aly Rae reminded us that strength can still be soft, feminine, stylish, vulnerable, and powerful all at once.

She’s still modeling. Still inspiring. Still standing.

That matters more to us than whatever the industry is pretending to care about this week.

Last night's Met Gala was "surprisingly"... good. Anok Yai as the Black Madonna, referencing the Virgin of the Seven Sorrows by Francisco Romero Zafra. Grief turned into gold. Pain turned into presence. Fashion as something sacred again.

This is what happens when beauty stops performing and starts meaning something.

For a moment, the industry remembered what art feels like.

Anok's whole team, particularly her glam squad, took this to another level. The look was pure artistry.
