Rugged Wear was born from an idea hatched in the mind of Norman Arnold. Norm is the long time owner of the Kings Valley Store. Norm`s Dad worked at the famous Les Newman’s Work clothes store in Salem for 30 years selling Red Wing boots and work clothes for Men and Women. Norm’s memory of his Red Wing boots and his personal experience selling work clothes on the road for PRSN BLUES and P*E DEE jeans convinced him that opening a work clothes store in Dallas Oregon was to be his next business adventure. After convincing a lifelong friend to join him in the venture, Rugged Wear opened for business in Dallas Oregon in May of 2006. Business Philosophy:

Rugged Wear operates with a simple business philosophy. We strive to be “The Working Mans Friend” We provide quality work clothes and boots to the American working family. We sell the #1 work Clothes line, Carhartt. We sell the #1 work shoe, Georgia Romeo. We are widely known around the county as either the CARHARTT store or the ROMEO store. We earned this recognition with our personal service and our pricing philosophy. Pricing Philosophy:

We are a discount store. Our CARHARTT clothing line is priced at CARHARTT`s Lowest Suggested Sales Price EVERYDAY. That means we are typically 20% less than the big box stores. We offer five different colors for Men, Women, and children. We price them at the same low price EVERYDAY.
