Rugged Wear was born from an idea hatched in the mind of Norman Arnold. Norm is the long time owner of the Kings Valley Store. Norm`s Dad worked at the famous Les Newman’s Work clothes store in Salem for 30 years selling Red Wing boots and work clothes for Men and Wo
men. Norm’s memory of his Red Wing boots and his personal experience selling work clothes on the road for PRSN BLUES and P*E DEE jeans convinced him that opening a work clothes store in Dallas Oregon was to be his next business adventure. After convincing a lifelong friend to join him in the venture, Rugged Wear opened for business in Dallas Oregon in May of 2006. Business Philosophy:
