This is the real reason why I don’t post much.
For those who have ever wondered why I’m not constantly posting, it’s not because I don’t have work…it’s actually the opposite.
Between running the shop, restoring shoes, filming content, answering customers, managing the business, being a husband, teaching students all around the world how to do exactly what im doing, and most importantly being a dad, there just aren’t enough hours in the day. Most days, I’m simply trying to keep up.
This video was filmed after a 12 hour shift after finishing 12 pairs that day, and I’d be right back the next day doing it all over again.
On the 21st of this month, we celebrated 2 years in our shop. Looking back, it’s been the greatest blessing I could’ve asked for. In these last two years, I’ve made more than I ever imagined in my 16 years of restoring sneakers, met incredible people, and gone from hoping someone would bring me a pair or two… to customers dropping off trash bags full of sneakers.
There was a time I prayed for this kind of busy. So even on the exhausting days, I remind myself that I once asked God for everything I’m living today.
Taking the leap and opening this shop was scary. I couldn’t afford it at the time, but I trusted that if God opened the door, He would make a way. And He has been faithful every step of the way.
To every single person who’s ever trusted me with your shoes, shared a post, told a friend, or supported this business in any way—thank you. You changed my life more than you’ll ever know.
And if you’re sitting on a dream, wondering if you should take the leap… this is your reminder: don’t put a limit on what God can do with your faith. Sometimes the blessing waiting on the other side is bigger than anything you could’ve planned for yourself.
Thank you for keeping me busy. I’ll never take it for granted. 🤘🏽💪🏽💯
