Today we are celebrating one year since we opened our shop in Dania pointe!
Before we spent two years in downtown . People ask me all the time.. how did you do it, what was the process like, what would you do differently? And honestly, it’s all a blur! I am finally taking a breath! After a year, I’m doing a lot of reflecting and realizing what worked, what didn’t. The vision that I had to start with and how it’s changed along the way! I have learned so many lessons in business, in management and in growth! In this type of collective business, you really have to be flexible and pivot, and move with the tide!. You can’t have a controlling nature. Because it’s an uncontrollable beast! But a beautiful beast! I’ve learned that when you own a business, it really is what you make it! I have the opportunity to create a space of my dreams, of my imagination, something that never existed before is now in existence. It’s a very surreal feeling. But I encourage anybody and everybody who has wanted to do something, but have been intimidated or scared to just go for it! Seek advice and help. But definitely go for it! Here on TikTok I do plan on sharing more of the behind the scenes. The business side of owning a collective shop and managing 52 vendors. It’s a lot of work! And a lot of times I think we need a reality show
