• Needle: Start with a fresh 90/14 needle
• Rotary cutter: Use a new blade for crisp, clean cuts
• Stitch length: Set your stitch length to 3.0
• Walking foot: Help all your fabric layers feed evenly
• Use clips: Avoid the puncture marks of pins
• Finishing touches: Finish raw edges with a serger, zigzag stitch, or binding tape
