A little update from O&C Handmade Creations. 🧡
After a lot of thought and prayer, I’ve decided to continue my break from taking orders until this fall.
As I share this update, I thought it would be fitting to show off the very first handmade piece I’ve made for our baby girl, Kolbee Ryann. Creating something for her reminded me why I started this business in the first place and how much joy I find in making meaningful, handmade items.
This season of life is looking a little different for me as we prepare to welcome her into the world. Between a full-time job, O&C Pet Sitting, and O&C Handmade Creations, I’ve found it increasingly difficult to keep up with everything. If I’m being honest, it’s been a little overwhelming and even defeating at times to realize that I simply can’t do it all.
It has taken me some time to come to terms with that, but I truly believe this is the season God is asking me to slow down, focus on my family, and prepare for this new chapter. So that’s exactly what I’m going to do. 💕
Over the next few months, I plan to spend my creative time making special handmade items for our baby girl and our family while soaking in these last weeks before her arrival.
My goal is to begin creating again around October because I definitely don’t want to miss out on all the fun spooky, Thanksgiving, and Christmas projects! 🎃🦃🎄
When I return, I plan to offer specific seasonal collections rather than taking custom requests. While I absolutely love all of the creative ideas that find their way into my inbox, it has become difficult to manage so many different one-off projects. Focusing on curated collections will allow me to create with more intention while still sharing handmade pieces with all of you.
Thank you for your support, encouragement, and understanding. O&C Handmade Creations isn’t going anywhere. It’s simply taking a little pause while I focus on the most important project I’ve ever worked on: becoming a mom. 🥲
