Yes we are ready for the Fall Reveal! (A few sneak peaks coming tomorrow!)

But meanwhile, who knows the story of Pinkie" and "The Blue Boy" ? Two famous 18th-century oil paintings that became a legendary romanticized pair in popular culture, despite being painted by different artists 24 years apart with no original connection.

The Blue Boy (1770): Painted by British artist Thomas Gainsborough, it depicts Jonathan Buttall, the 18-year-old son of a wealthy ironmonger..
Pinkie (1794): Painted by Sir Thomas Lawrence, it portrays Sarah Goodin Barrett Moulton at 11 years old.

 During the 1950s, the pairing of "Pinkie" and "The Blue Boy" became the ultimate decorative staple in post-World War II American homes.

The originals hang in the Huntington in San Marino California. We have this pair of prints at the booth and they can be yours!
